Introduction

RollFlow ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training tracking application.

Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

RollFlow stores the following information locally on your device:

1. Training Session Data
   • Session dates, duration, and intensity
   • Training partners' names (as you enter them)
   • Personal notes and observations
   • Gi type (Gi/No-Gi/Both)
2. Technique Information
   • Technique names and descriptions
   • YouTube video URLs (links only, not videos)
   • Custom tags and categories
   • Personal notes and annotations
   • Video snapshots and drawings (stored locally)
3. Sparring Round Data
   • Round duration and outcomes
   • Partner names
   • Personal performance notes
4. Game Plans
   • Flow chart diagrams
   • Position names and connections
   • Strategy notes
5. Training Schedule
   • Recurring training times
   • Notification preferences
6. App Preferences
   • Notification settings
   • Display preferences
   • Onboarding completion status

Health Data (Optional)

With your explicit permission, RollFlow can:

1. Read from Apple Health:
   • Heart rate data during your training sessions
   • Used exclusively for session analysis and performance insights
2. Write to Apple Health:
   • Training session summaries
   • Workout duration and estimated calories

Important:

• Health data access is completely optional
• You can use RollFlow without granting Health access
• Health data is managed by Apple Health and subject to Apple's privacy policy
• We never transmit your health data outside of your device

How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens locally on your device:

• Session Tracking: To log and display your training history
• Progress Analysis: To generate statistics and insights
• Technique Library: To organize and reference your techniques
• Game Planning: To create and visualize your BJJ strategy
• Notifications: To remind you of scheduled training sessions
• Heart Rate Analysis: To provide performance insights (if enabled)

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• All data is stored in your device's secure app container using SwiftData
• Data is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• App data is included in your iPhone/iPad backups (iCloud or iTunes)

Backups

• iCloud/iTunes Backups: If you backup your device, your RollFlow data is included
• Export/Import: You can manually export your data as a JSON file
• Control: You have complete control over backup files you export

No Cloud Storage

• We do NOT use our own cloud servers
• We do NOT sync your data to any external services
• We do NOT have access to your training data

Third-Party Services

YouTube Integration

• When you add YouTube links, we only store the URL
• Videos are played through YouTube's embedded player
• YouTube's privacy policy applies when viewing videos
• We don't send any of your personal data to YouTube

Apple Health

• Health data integration is managed entirely by Apple
• Subject to Apple's Health privacy policy
• We only access data you explicitly authorize
• Health data stays within Apple's Health ecosystem

No Analytics or Tracking

• We do NOT use analytics services
• We do NOT track your app usage
• We do NOT collect crash reports containing personal data
• We do NOT use advertising networks

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to anyone. Period.

Your training data:

• ✅ Stays on your device
• ✅ Is controlled entirely by you
• ❌ Is never uploaded to our servers (we don't have servers)
• ❌ Is never shared with third parties
• ❌ Is never used for advertising
• ❌ Is never sold or monetized

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

Access

• All your data is accessible within the app
• Export functionality available in Settings

Deletion

• Delete individual sessions, techniques, or game plans
• Delete the app to remove all local data
• Exported backup files can be manually deleted

Portability

• Export all your data as JSON format
• Import data from previous exports
• Transfer between devices using export/import

Modification

• Edit any information at any time
• Update or delete training sessions
• Modify techniques and game plans

Children's Privacy

RollFlow does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for martial artists of all ages, but we recommend parental supervision for users under 13.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Providing in-app notification for significant changes

Continued use of RollFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
